Why do some pergolas look like they have skinny pillars?
Many are made from thin-wall extrusions and the vertical pillars are often sized at only 120mm x 120mm or 130mm x 130mm footprint. IKON Pavilion use pillars of 200mm x 200mm and typically are made from more robust aluminium. Thus, we can offer designs up to 8m in length and 6m in width without the need for additional support pillars or adding modules together.
Do I need planning permission for a pergola in the UK?
